Billy Eichner lands his next major role.
Multiple outlets confirm that Eichner has been cast in American Crime Story: Impeachment. He joins the cast as Matt Drudge, the same Drudge of the Drudge Report, which first broke the news of the presidential scandal.
The forthcoming third season of American Crime Story tells the story of the impeachment of President Bill Clinton.
Eichner joins previously announced Beanie Feldstein as Monica Lewinsky, Clive Owen as Bill Clinton, Sarah Paulson as Linda Tripp and Annaleigh Ashford as Paula Jones.
Eichner took to Twitter to confirm the news writing, “Can finally share this with the world. Truly an honor to join.”
American Crime Story: Impeachment follows Ryan Murphy and Eichner’s latest collab, with Eichner recently appearing in seasons 7 and 8 of American Horror Story.
