“A Quiet Place 2” to Premiere Earlier

John Krasinski and Noah Jupe in "A Quiet Place"

Paramount continues to reshuffle its premieres’ board.

After announcing that the release of Sonic the Hedgehog has been delayed from November 2019 to February 14, 2020, the studio now announces that the sequel to A Quiet Place has been moved ahead by two months.

The John Krasinski-helmed horror sequel will now premiere on March 20, 2020, instead of May 15, 2020.

Krasinski, Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, and Noah Jupe are set to reprise their roles for the sci-fi feature.

The story followed an isolated family of four that must live in silence while hiding from creatures that hunt by sound. The original made its world premiere at SXSW last year and opened in theaters a month later. It grossed $188 million domestically and $340.9 million worldwide.
