Class is back in session!

Great news A.P. Bio fans! The comedy will be back for season 3 on NBCUniversal’s still unnamed and yet to be launched streaming service.

The NBC comedy from creator Mike O’Brien was initially canceled after two seasons in May. The series follows a disgraced Harvard philosophy professor turned high school biology teacher. It starred Glenn Howerton and Patton Oswalt.

“I’m so overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from the fans,” O’Brien said Wednesday in a statement. “The cast and I are thrilled that we get to make more and I’m excited to work with the NBCU streaming platform.”

O’Brien credited fans for the series’ return thanks to a successful #SaveAPBio social media. “This happened because of all you guys! We’re extremely thankful!” he tweeted Wednesday.

The Hollywood Reporter was first to report the news.
