5 New Movies Coming To Netflix U.S. This Month

Going to the movie theater may not be on the cards right now but fortunately, there’s still a bunch of great new movies coming to Netflix U.S. over the course of the month. Here are some of the highlights.

Extraction

Chris Hemsworth stars in this dramatic thriller about a war between the biggest drug lord in Bangladesh and the biggest drug lord in India. There’s a kidnapping and a whole lot of action. It’s due to arrive on April 24.

Sergio

The upcoming historical drama from director Greg Baker tells the story of the UN diplomat, Sergio Vieira de Mello. The plot follows the chaotic aftermath of the US invasion of Iraq. It lands April 17.

Middleditch & Schwartz 

Middleditch & Schwartz is a new Netflix comedy special arriving on April 21. The special features segments from the duo’s improv at previous shows. The audience makes the suggestions and what follows is a surprise to everybody.

Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045

Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 is a brand new anime movie based on the popular sci-fi film, Ghost in the Shell. The movie is set in 2045 and is a battle between public security and cybercrime. It lands April 23.

Dangerous Lies

The upcoming Netflix thriller stars Riverdale’s Camila Mendes as a young carer. When the elderly man she looks after passes away, she winds up with his entire estate and in an awful lot of danger.

This thriller sounds like a much darker version of last year’s hit Knives Out. In it, Camila Mendes of Riverdale fame plays a young caregiver to an elderly man who passes away and leaves her to inherit his entire estate — which ends up putting her in a great deal of danger.
