Avengers: Endgame was a truly epic movie with too many triumphant moments to count, but we’ll try. Here are our Top 10.

Captain America Picks Up Thor’s Hammer

In Avengers: Age of Ultron, the Avengers take it turns to try and lift Thor’s hammer and when Captain America tries, much to Thor’s shock, it trembles. In Endgame, the Captain calls for the hammer at the moment Thor needs him to succeed the most. And he does.

Hulk Brings Everyone Back

One of the biggest but briefest moments in the film is when Hulk puts on the glove and snaps his fingers. He survives the snap and succeeds in bringing everybody back.

Nebula Kills Herself

OK, this sounds dark but we are of course referring to the moment when Nebula shoots her former self to protect the universe. Nebula has suffered a lot under her father’s hand and shooting her former, obedient self was a triumphant celebration of the woman she has become.

When Black Panther Shows Up

When we see the size of Thanos’ army, it seems that the Avengers don’t have a fighting chance of success. This would have been the case if every other Marvel superhero ever hadn’t shown up in the nick of time, led by Black Panther and his army.

Agent Carter Gets Her Dance

In the first Captain America, Steve Rogers is frozen in an ice cube before Agent Carter can get the dance he promised her. When he goes back in time to return the infinity stones to their rightful place, he makes the decision to stay in the past and spend his days with the love of his life.

Thor Hugs His Mom

Thor arguably suffered the most following the snap and struggled to reclaim his heroic status. His triumphant moment came at the end of the movie when he stepped up to fight but first, he accepted his weakness and was received by his mom in a heartfelt and much-needed hug.

Falcon Receives The Sheild

Falcon doesn’t want to live in a world without Captain America and he doesn’t have to, because Steve Rogers hands the shield to the deserving hero in the penultimate scene.

Black Widow Sacrifices Herself

Black Widow died like a true hero, fighting Hawkeye so that she could be the won to make the sacrifice so the Avengers could retrieve the soul stone.

Hawkeye is Reunited With His Family

The movie starts with Hawkeye watching his family vanish in front of him. It ends with them being bought back together in a humbling, triumphant moment of reunion.

Iron Man’s Sacrifice

Iron Man’s sacrifice was truly triumphant because he didn’t just save the universe, he became the man his father never was and put the greater good before his own selfish needs.
