Like each year, 2017 also gave us some great blockbuster hits, movies that delighted the critics and was a bunch of simply bad movies and those that didn’t fulfill their potential (we are looking at you Justice League).

But let’s not work ourselves with the negatives. We decided to look on the bright side and bring you our picks for the top 10 movies of 2017. Let’s get on with it then.

Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri

We just can’t skip Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri on any list of top movies of 2017. This feature tells the story about a mother who rents three billboards outside the town in an attempt to make the authorities do something about her daughter’s unsolved murder.

Another Guillermo del Toro’s fantasy masterpiece, The Shape of Water takes us back to 1960s and follows lonely janitor Elisa who discovers a mysterious creature in one of the laboratories she cleans and develops a friendship with it.

The Disaster Artist

Get Out

The directorial debut from comedian Jordan Peele, Get Out came out of nowhere and took us all by surprise. The movie tells a story about a young black man who visits his white girlfriend’s parents and starts noticing some weird things happening.
