Tom Hiddleston’s Loki has been through a lot since we first met him over a decade ago…and the worst is yet to come. The first trailer for Season 2 of Loki is here and it sees the God of Mischief witnessing unimaginable horrors while being pulled through time and space.

The first trailer for the show’s next chapter introduces us to Ke Huy Quan’s character OB, a Time Variance Authority archivist who informs Loki that he’s suffering from a condition known as time-slipping. Loki and Mobius (Owen Wilson) go to OB in the hope he’ll help them find a solution, but he tells them he never witnesses time-slipping in the TVA.

The next season of Loki will feature a blend of new and familiar faces, with Eugene Cordero, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, and Tara Strong returning to their roles from Season 1, along with Jonathan Majors as Victor Timely, a variant of Kang the Conquer. Rafael Casal, Kate Dickie, and Liz Carr are among the new cast members joining the show’s ensemble.

Season 2 of Loki was written by Eric Martin, and it will feature six episodes. It will premiere on October 6, as a part of the MCU’s Phase Five.
