Nothing like a good old stew to make you remember that you starred in a mega-blockbuster feature.

Yep — that’s exactly what happened to Gwyneth Paltrow during an appearance on Netflix’s Chef Show, starring on Favreau and celebrity chef Roy Choi.

As the two conduct some small talk while cooking, Gwyneth Paltrow realized that she completely forgot she starred in a Spiderman movie.

Paltrow made a brief cameo as the character Pepper Potts at the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming, but it took a casual conversation to get her to remember.

“What is this TV Show for?” the Goop founder asked.

“We don’t really know. I started just filming. We were actually doing it when we were filming Spider-Man,” Favreau answered.

Spider-Man?” Paltrow replied looking confused

“Yeah, we were in Spider-Man together,” Favreau replies. “Remember, we were on Spider-Man?”

“We weren’t in Spider-Man,” Paltrow argues.

“Yes, we were. You were in Spider-Man,” Favreau insists.

“I was in Avengers,” she said.

“No, you were in Spider-Man also,” Favreau said.

“Remember, Spider-Man at the end, and Tom Holland’s there and you’re gonna walk out and do a press conference?”

“Oh yes,” she said. “That was Spider-Man? Oh my God!”

From the adorable interaction you can totally see that Paltrow genuinely has no recollection of her Homecoming role.
