Every Upcoming Movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe

Brie Larson in "Captain Marvel"

After the epic bombshell that Avengers: Infinity War dropped, you might be wondering what Marvel will be bringing us next. Here is a list of all the upcoming Marvel features this decade.

Ant-Man and the Wasp (July 6th, 2018)

The Ant-Man sequel will take place chronologically prior to Infinity War. Evangeline Lilly will star as the Wasp and Paul Rudd will continue his role as Ant-Man. Expect more visually exciting action scenes with a less serious tone than this year’s Black Panther and Avengers.

Captain Marvel (March 8th, 2019)

Brie Larson will be introduced as Captain Marvel, a superhero more powerful than any we have seen so far. Carol Danvers gained alien superpowers after an accident, allowing her super-strength, super-speed, flight and telekinesis. Samuel L. Jackson will reprise his role as Nick Fury in the feature and the villainous Skrulls from the comics will come to life on the big screen.

Avengers 4 (May 3rd, 2019)

The Russo Brothers will be directing the currently untitled ‘Avengers: Infinity War Part II’. It’s the one we’re all waiting for.

Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 (July 5, 2019)

A sequel to Homecoming has been confirmed for summer next year. It will mark the start of a new era of superhero movies after Infinity War.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2020)

James Gunn will return to pen the final installment of Guardians of the Galaxy. It will conclude the guardians’ journey together and is anticipated sometime in 2020.

As well as the listed movies, Black Widow and Doctor Strange and Black Panther sequel are also potentially in the works. There is a near endless supply of characters and comics to dip into, so the Marvel cinematic universe is by no means coming to an end.
