The platform recently released a trailer for the special, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Kimmy vs. The Reverand, and viewers can decide the adventures Kimmy takes.

In the interactive special, Kimmy (Ellie Kemper) will try to stop Richard Wayne Gary Wayne (John Hamm), who reveals that her underground bunker was not the only one and that there’s another one where he’s keeping women.

The logline asks, “Will you foil the Reverend’s evil plan and get Kimmy to her wedding on time? Or will you accidentally start a war against the robots?”

Some of the scenarios we’ll get to decide are, should Kimmy make out with her finance (Daniel Radcliffe) or should she plan her wedding? and should she and Titus (Titus Burgess) wait 4,000 minutes for an Uber or should they walk? Don’t worry, if you mess up and Kimmy dies, there are do-overs.

Also returning are Jane Krakowski, Carol Kane, Sara Chase, Lauren Adams, Sol Miranda, Amy Sedaris, Michael Carlsen, Fred Armisen, Chris Parnell, Jack McBrayer, and Johnny Knoxville.

Multiple outlets confirm that the Harry Potter star has joined the cast of the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt interactive special. It is unknown what character Radcliffe is set to play.

The special was announced in May by co-creator Tina Fey. 

“Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt was one of the first original comedy series on Netflix, and now it will be its first interactive comedy event. Fans will be able to make choices on behalf of our characters, taking different story paths with, of course, different jokes. I think it’s a great fit for our show and will be a great way to officially complete the series.”

The special will see Kimmy (Ellie Kemper) set off on her biggest adventure yet, taking her to three different states. Netflix also teased that Kimmy’s kidnapper will make an appearance in the special.

The interactive special is set to debut in 2020.

Since then, Netflix have revealed that they will be creating more shows of this nature. They recently released “You Vs. The Wild” and now, it has been announced that Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt will be giving the choose-your-own-adventure format a go.

The creator of the series Tina Fey shared: “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt was one of the first original comedy series on Netflix, and now it will be its first interactive comedy event.

“Fans will be able to make choices on behalf of our characters, taking different story paths with, of course, different jokes.”

The season finale is schedule for a 2020 release.
