]]>News that the show co-created by Aidy Bryant and Lindy West will be back for another season comes two months after the launch of season 2 on the steamer.
Based on the book Shrill: Notes from a Loud Woman by West, Shrill follows Annie (Bryant), a fat young woman who wants to change her life — but not her body.
In season 1, Annie tried to start her career in journalism while juggling bad boyfriends, a sick parent, and a perfectionist boss. After facing her demons, Annie started season 2 feeling pretty good with her boyfriend Ryan (Luka Jones) by her side. But she realized that hastily quitting her job and jumping into a relationship with someone who is a little less career-focused may not have been the best idea.
Shrill also stars Lolly Adefope, Luka Jones, John Cameron Mitchell, Ian Owens, and Patti Harrison.

]]>The announcement comes just three months after the second season of the series launched on the streamer.
“From the beginning, we’ve always viewed this particular story of The Robinsons as a trilogy,” series executive producer and showrunner Zack Estrin said. “A three-part epic family adventure with a clear beginning, middle, and end. It’s also worth noting that, with what these characters go through just trying to survive each episode — if anyone deserves to catch their breath before their next mission — it’s Will, Penny, Judy, Maureen, John, Don West, Dr. Smith… and The Robot. And, of course, Debbie the Chicken. So while this chapter of ‘Lost In Space’ is coming to a rousing conclusion, I’m excited about continuing to explore new stories with my friends at Netflix, and for all of the incredible possibilities that lie ahead.”
The reboot of the 1960’s science fiction series stars Toby Stephens, Molly Parker, Maxwell Jenkins, Mina Sundwall, Taylor Russell, Ignacio Serricchio and Parker Posey.
