The post 2023 MTV Movie & TV Awards: “The Last of Us” Wins Big at Virtaul Ceremony appeared first on Entertainment For Us.
]]>The Last of Us faced tough competition in Stranger Things, The White Lotus, Wednesday, Wolf Pack, Yellowjackets, and Yellowstone, but it managed to beat them all to win the trophy for the best TV show. It was also a big night for Pedro Pascal who collected two awards: best hero and best duo, alongside his The Last of Us co-star Bella Ramsey.
There were no clear front-runners in the movie field, and Scream VI pulled quite an upset to win the award for the best movie, defeating the likes of Avatar: The Way of Water, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Elvis, Nope, Smile, and Top Gun: Maverick. Tom Cruise (Top Gun: Maverick), Adam Sandler (Murder Mystery 2), and Elizabeth Olsen (Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness) won acting awards for their performances.
