In the spirit of April Fools day, Maisie and Jimmy Fallon set up an epic spoiler prank on The Tonight Show which has since gone viral. After claiming that her producers would literally “kill” her if she let anything slip, Maisie reveals that her character dies in episode two of the final season.

Jimmy points out that she has let slip a spoiler and Maisie’s reaction is priceless. Her hands are shaking, her eyes are tearing and she looks utterly in shock about what she has just done. To be honest, the Game of Thronesstar deserves an Oscar for her performance.

The audience are stunned into silence and awkwardly laugh as Jimmy tries to rectify the situation. Maisie runs off stage in bits only to jump out with Jimmy moments later and reveal that the whole setup was one big prank.

Game of Thrones is such good television that it is easy to forget that the characters are actually played by actors. Most of the time, it feels less like watching TV and more like looking through a window into a magical land where everything happening interests us greatly.

A quick reality check reminds us that there is in fact a huge cast of actors behind the award winning series and that these actors and actresses all have lives of their own. This doesn’t stop us from getting excited when we find out that the cast are friends outside of the show though.

Arya Stark actress Maisie Williams has revealed (via Metro) that the cast is like one “big family” off-set.

“We have a Game of Thrones WhatsApp and people just post really funny pictures of one another from various seasons,” she said. “I think there was a rule that these do not go on Instagram… but I’m definitely going to put them on Instagram.”

She also added that she has a very special relationship with Lina Headey.

“I’ve been close with her for a long time,” she said. “When I first met her she didn’t have any kids and I was 12 years old and now she’s a mother of two. We’ve been with each other for these crazy times in our lives.”

She continued: “Knowing someone for a decade is huge and she’s always treated me like a grown up. She always respected me on a real level and for that I’m so grateful.”

Game of Thrones Season 8 will premiere on April 14, 2019.

The film, titled The Owners, is based on a comic book from the artist Hermann, written by Yves H. It is produced by Bluelight’s Alain de la Mata and executive produced by XYZ Films. Berg will direct from a script co-written by himself and Matthieu Gompel.

Multiple outlets report that 21-year-old Willians is on board the project set in 1990s rural England. 

Williams who is best known for her role as Arya Stark in HBO’s hit fantasy series Game of Thrones, is set to play a young woman, the girlfriend of a man who plots, together with his mate, to rob the elderly local doctor and his wife.

“I’m very proud that Maisie Williams is joining the cast of The Owners. Her already impressive experience will bring great force and vitality to her character and to the narrative of what promises to be a particularly intense thriller. Beyond her great talent she is an actor possessed of a profound humanity with who I am greatly looking forward to working,” Berg said when revealing Williams’ participation in the project. 

The filmis scheduled to begin filming this spring in Kent, England.

In a recent interview, Williams discussed the final season of Game of Thrones and decided to offer some details about her character’s last scene, which she described as “beautiful” and “perfect.”

“I ended on the perfect scene. I was alone–shocker! Arya’s always bloody alone,” the 21-year-old actress shared. “But I was alone, and I had watched a lot of other people wrap. I knew the drill, I had seen the tears and heard the speeches. I got to the end, and I didn’t want more. I had exhausted every possible piece of Arya. And this season was quite big for me. I had a lot more to do. Mainly because there’s just less characters now, so everyone’s got more to do.”

Besides Maisie Williams, Peter Dinklage recently also gave his opinion on Tyrion Lannister’s final scenes on the show. According to Dinklage, Tyrion was given a proper conclusion while adding that even if his character ended up dead, “death can be a great way out.”

The final season of Game of Thrones is scheduled to premiere in the first half of 2019, and if cast continues to sharing, there is no doubt that we will find out lot more details about it before the first episode airs.
