]]>The action-packed trailer sees a younger Bruce Wayne dealing with the rise of some of his biggest enemies, including Riddler (Paul Dano), Penguin (Colin Farrell), and Catwoman (Zoë Kravitz). He has an impressive collection of gadgets that he can use on his quest to defeat them, including a throwback Batmobile and his iconic Bat-bike.
In addition to Pattinson, Dano, Farrell, and Kravitz, The Batman is also set to star Jeffrey Wright, John Turturro, Peter Sarsgaard, and Andy Serkis. Matt Reeves’s take on the famous superhero will premiere on March 4th, 2022, and DC is already plotting two sequels and two spin-off television series.
The Batman is one of the main projects introduced during a recent DC FanDome event. DC also gave us sneak peeks at The Flash, Batgirl, Shazam! Fury of the Gods, and Black Adam. The studio also announced the renewal of several HBO MAX shows, including Doom Patrol, Titans, and Pennyworth.

]]>Matt Reeves confirmed that actor Colin Farrell is on board the forthcoming superhero pic as Oswald Cobblepot, better known as Penguin. Reeves tweeted a gif of Farrell from the movie In Bruges captioned with: “Wait — is that you, #Oz?” (Oz in case you don’t know, is a shortened form of the DC character’s given name).
Farrell joins Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader, who took over the role from Ben Affleck, in addition to Paul Dano as the Riddler, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon, and Peter Sarsgaard in a still unconfirmed role.
The Batman is set to debut on 25 June 2021.

]]>Burger’s next movie will be led by Colin Farrell, who’ll have amazing support in Tye Sheridan (Ready Player One), Lily-Rose Depp (Yoga Hosers), Fionn Whitehead (Dunkirk), and Isaac Hempstead Wright (Game of Thrones).
Voyagers will focus on a group of 30 children, who are sent on a multi-generational mission to populate a new planet. This plan falls through after the captain of the mission is killed, and they end up descending into chaos and forming tribes between themselves.
Burger’s new project has been described as “Lord of the Flies in space” and it will serve as his comeback to sci-fi. He hasn’t worked on a genre film since 2014 when Divergent hit the theaters, and his last directorial effort was dramedy The Upside, starring Kevin Hart and Bryan Cranston.
