The streaming service has officially made another cancellation — this time it’s Mark Heyman’s Strange Angel, which will not return for a third season.

The series based on the biography Strange Angel: The Otherworldly Life of Rocket Scientist John Whiteside Parsons starred Jack Raynor, Rupert Friend, Bella Heathcote, Peter Mark Kendall, Michael Gaston, Greg Wise, Rade Šerbedžija, Zack Pearlman, and Keye Chen.

“The series brought new meaning to the idea that the truth is stranger than fiction and we are incredibly thankful to the creative team of Mark Heyman, David DiGilio, Ridley Scott and David W. Zucker for their vision, as well as the fantastic cast for bringing the bizarre story of Jack Parsons to life,” said Julie McNamara, Exec VP originals at CBS All Access.

Strange Angel joins fellow canceled drama One Dollar, which was axed in December 2018.

TVLine confirms that the 32-year-old actress who played Rindell on the CBS All Access courtroom drama and appeared in the first three seasons of the series, will not return for season 4 of The Good Fight

Creators Robert and Michelle King confirmed Leslie’s departure from the show at San Diego Comic-Con on Thursday. The duo even added that the previous season’s final episode was her “sendoff.” To be honest, it does make some sense seeing that the season 3 finale saw Maia head off to Washington DC to launch a new firm with Michael Sheen’s Roland Blum.

Leslie makes three original cast members to exit the show ahead of its fourth season — she joins Justin Bartha and Erica Tazel. Staying abroad for the forthcoming season are Audra McDonald, Michael Boatman, and Nyambi Nyambi.

The Good Fight‘s 10-episode fourth season is set to return next year.

According to multiple reports, Star Trek: Discovery is slimming down at the end of Season Two with both Anson Mount and Rebecca Romijn set to exit the series.

Mount, who plays Captain Christopher Pike and Romijn, who plays Pike’s shipmate Number One both joined the CBS All Access drama at the beginning of the season, will leave it at its end. According to Deadline, the actors’ exit comes as no surprise as the tow had inked one-year deals and contracted for Season 2 arcs.

Star Trek: Discovery is currently nine episodes into its second season with five more to go. It was for an additional and third season just last month with co-executive producer Michelle Paradise joining Alex Kurtzman as co-showrunner.

New episodes of Star Trek: Discovery debut every Thursday via CBS All Access.

Ginnifer Goodwin is getting payback.

Ginnifer Goodwin has been cast as one of the three female leads in Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry’s Why Women Kill for CBS All Access.

New of Goodwin’s casting comes just one day after the streaming service announced that Lucy Liu has been cast in the show.

Why Women Kill centers on three women living in three different decades: a housewife in the ‘60s, a socialite in the ‘80s, and a lawyer in 2018, all dealing with infidelity in their marriages.

Goodwin will play Beth Ann, whose story takes place in 1963. “She is kind, cheerful and warm. But if you get too close, you start to see that she wears a mask to hide her pain. Beth Ann’s whole world revolves around her husband, and so she is understandably defensive and immediately in denial when told Rob is having an affair. Determined to learn the sordid details for herself, Beth Ann is in for a life-changing shift of perspective,” per the official description.

Liu will play the elegant, stylish and effervescent socialite Simone.

Goodwin other credits include Snow White on Once Upon a Time and Big Love. You can see her next on Jordan Peele’s upcoming Twilight Zone reboot and Netflix’s Dolly Parton’s Heartstrings.
