]]> Variety exclusively reported that Jessica Chastain is in talks to join The Forgiven. 

Should she board the project, Chastain will star alongside Ralph Fiennes and Caleb Landry Jones in the big-screen adaptation of the novel by Lawrence Osborne. Saïd Taghmaoui, Rebecca Hall, and Mark Strong round out the cast. 

The film, directed by John Michael McDonagh “deals with the impact of a tragic accident on the lives of an English couple attending a lavish weekend party at a luxurious desert villa in Morocco.”

Production is set to begin in early 2020 on location in Morocco.
