]]>Zeta-Jones and Guzmán are set to play the roles of Morticia and Gomez Addams, joining Jenna Ortega, as she takes on the titular character. Smallville creators Al Gough and Miles Millar will serve as showrunners, with Tim Burton leaving his signature touch on the series by boarding the project as director.
Wednesday has been described as a “sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery” that follows Wednesday Addams’ years as a student at Nevermore Academy. As she tries to master her emerging psychic ability, Wednesday also finds herself trying to solve a monstrous killing spree and a 25-year-old supernatural mystery involving her parents.
Netflix’s series isn’t the latest attempt to bring the Addams Family back. An animated movie, voiced by the likes of Oscar Isaac, Charlize Theron, Chloë Grace Moretz, and Finn Wolfhard, came out in 2019 and its sequel is on the way despite mixed reviews of the original film.

]]>The new trailer for the animated remake of the creepy and kooky Addams Family, features the Macabre family moving to New Jersey.
The clip sees the Addams insisting to show locals “what it means to be an Addams.” But in return their perfectly suburban neighbors lament that “These people are monsters, they’ll ruin the neighborhood.”
This might seem harsh but then again Fester releases bats in the center of the town, Wednesday brings frogs back to life in science class and Pugsley Pugsley mans a torpedo…
The film co-directed by Conrad Vernon and Greg Tiernan features the voices of Charlize Theron as Morticia Addams, Finn Wolfhard and Chloë Grace Moretz as siblings Pugsley and Wednesday Addams, and Oscar Isaac as head of the family, Gomez Addams. Nick Kroll is Uncle Fester, Bette Midler is Grandma, Vernon is Lurch, and Snoop Dogg is Cousin Itt. Martin Short, Catherine O’Hara, Tituss Burgess, Jenifer Lewis, Elsie Fisher, and Aimee Garcia round out the cast.
The Addams Family is in theaters October 11.

]]>Whoever said January is the worst month clearly hasn’t seen the list of all the great movies and TV coming to Netflix this month. Here are 10 films we’re buzzing to watch again on our home screens.
That’s right, ALL of them have been added to Netflix this month so prepare yourself for some Harrison Ford tomb-raiding action.
Oscar-winning director Guillermo del Toro’s haunting masterpiece is also being added to our watchlist.
Finally, the best of the Batman saga is being added to Netflix.
Before the new TV series airs on HBO, you can watch/re-watch the original cinematic adaptation of the popular graphic novel.
If you didn’t get round to watching it at the cinema, you can now catch it in your living room.
A charming rom-com starring Ryan Reynalds and Abigail Breslin.
Finally…!
Halloween may be long over but the spooky and kooky Addams family are a welcome treat to our small screens.
The original was far better than last year’s tacky remake.
And on January 29 you will be able to watch…
So now you have no excuse for not being up to date when MCU’s Avengers: Endgame lands at cinemas worldwide in April.

]]>The Addams Family are amazingly likable in spite of the fact they are quite scary and their daughter Wednesday is more than a little deranged.
Edward Scissorhands is the first movie Tim Burton and Johnny Depp worked on together. It’s creepy but endearing, and we recommend you keep a box of tissues nearby.
This comedy horror is based on a theme park ride and it is just as much fun as you’d expect.
Halloween is the time that the likes of Tim Burton and Marilyn Manson come out to play. The Nightmare Before Christmas is the movie that will give you your fix of both.
Casper is the friendly ghost who falls in love with a teenage girl. It’s hardly the best movie ever made but it’s definitely lovable.
Coraline is a creepy animated fantasy about a girl who discovers her ‘other’ family behind a secret door.
Tim Burton is the obvious star of the list with a third Halloween time classic.
A coven of eccentric, evil witches get released and they must be stopped before they succeed in becoming immortal.
It’s Halloween so who you gonna call? Ghostbusters of course
This cult classic might not be ideal for the younger children but is essential for a Halloween night in with friends. Make sure you clear a space so you can dance the time warp around your living room.
