]]>Tatiana Maslany made us forget she was playing a dozen people during her five years as part of the BBC America series, and deservedly won an Emmy Award for her efforts.
Although the series ended in 2017, we will soon be seeing what all our favorite clones got up to.
Temple Street Productions, which produced the original series, will be working with digital fiction startup Serial Box to create an audio continuation of the TV show.
Set eight years after the events in the final season, Orphan Black: The Next Chapter will consist of 10 episodes — and all our favorite characters. That means Maslany will return to portray 90% of them!
We’ve also received reassurance that Cosima and Delphine’s relationship will play a big role in the audio series.
We think this news deserves a dance party!

]]>The Orphan Black alumna will star opposite the previously announced Matthew Rhys.
Set in 1932 Los Angeles, when the city is booming while the rest of the country recovers from the Great Depression, the series follows the titular fictional criminal defense lawyer (Rhys), during a time in the character’s life when he is living check-to-check as a low-rent private investigator, haunted by his wartime experiences in France. But when the case of the decade breaks down his door, Mason’s relentless pursuit of the truth reveals a fractured city and, just maybe, a pathway to redemption for himself.
Maslany will play Sister Alice, the leader of the Radiant Assembly of God. Preaching three sermons a day to a hungry congregation and a radio audience that spans the country, she’s an entertainer, politician and God’s conduit to the City of Angels. Sister Alice wields great power when she speaks and plans to use it in ways only she can know.
