]]>On Friday, Sony Pictures announced that Marvel-Sony’s Spider-Man Far From Home sequel would be moved from July 16, 2021, to November 5, 2021. Sony Pictures Animation’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse sequel will also be delayed six months from April 8, 2022, to October 7, 2022.
Tom Holland’s Spider-Man Far From Home grossed $1.13 billion across box offices worldwide, making it one of 2019’s most successful films. The franchise began with 2017’s Spider-Man Homecoming and the untitled film will be the third in the franchise.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse grossed $375 million worldwide and it won last year’s Academy Award for the best-animated movie.
Uncharted, Holland’s video-game adaption, will also move from October 8, 2021, to July 16, 2021.

]]>The cinematography from Hoyte van Hoytema was stellar (no pun intended). It was easily the best movie to come out in 2014.
Avatar only just makes the list given that it will be approaching its ten year anniversary this year. When a film takes as long as it did to make, you better expect it to be stunning. And it didn’t disappoint.
Inception may be full of plot holes and confusion, but the cinematography cannot be faulted. The dream sequences and architectural montages are phenomenal.
I am reluctant to include Gravity because the storyline was so disappointing. The cinematography, however, was unparalleled.
We hesitantly proclaim Black Panther to be the best movie of 2018. It may not have taken the Oscar this year, but the African-noir cinematography was incredible.
When talking about cinematography, an arty horror movie is an essential part of the list. 2018’s Hereditary is our top pick.
There is a reason that The Favourite received a ton of Oscar nominations. It’s pretty much flawless.
A beautifully rendered black-and-white tale, which truly is Mexican filmmaker Alfonso Cuarón’s masterpiece.
The animated superhero feature was a surprising treat in 2018. It was mindblowing at the cinema and even better in 3D.
Every shot in Moonlight is visually stroking. It pulls you right in so it actually feels like you are standing beside the protagonist as you watch the events of the film unfold. A true masterpiece.

Cage has been cast as Spider-Man Noir in the upcoming animated Sony movie: Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. The feature is not part of the Marvel Spider-Man franchise.
According to Wikipedia, the “Noir” dimension which Cage’s character comes from is described in the comics as follows:
In this reality, Peter Parker is an inexperienced yet idealistic apprentice of a respected yet troubled reporter, who is accidentally bitten by a illegally imported and highly venomous spider, while secretly investigating a smuggling ring of ancient spider statues, but instead of killing him, the incident imbues him with super-human abilities, similar to that of a spider.
Using advantage of his new abilities, Parker begins to wage a one-man war against the criminal underworld in New York City as a brutal and feared vigilante, known as the “Spider-Man”, partly to avenge the death of his uncle: Ben Parker, at the hands of the city’s major crime lord: Norman Osborn.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will be released in cinemas on December 14th.
