]]>Survive, one of Quibi’s “Movie in Chapters,” is based on the novel of the same name by Alex Morel about “the only survivors of a plane crash on a remote snow-covered mountain, who must rely on each other as they battle brutal conditions and personal traumas to make it back to civilization.”
Tuner said at the time of her casting: “I couldn’t be more honored to portray the role of Jane in Survive for Quibi. ]]>The Game of Thrones alum took to Instagram to share her thoughts on the Lizzie McGuire reboot following the news that the revival has been put on hold after Lizzie McGuire parted ways with showrunner Terri Minsky.
“Fans have a sentimental attachment to Lizzie McGuire and high expectations for a new series,” a Disney spokesperson said in a statement. “After filming two episodes, we concluded that we need to move in a different creative direction and are putting a new lens on the show.”
“So, the Lizzie McGuire show has been put on hold. I’m obviously devastated like the rest of us, but I’m pretty sure—Like, is Miranda appearing in this season because I’m here. I’m available. I am your new Miranda,” Turner, said in her ‘gram stories. “Lizzie McGuire people, please reach out to me at 3….”
The Lizzie McGuire reboot was announced in August 2019 and production started in October.

]]>The latest release in the X-Men franchise may have had a heavyweight like Sophie Turner as its headliner, but the film failed to please critics and audiences, raking in only $33 million during its opening weekend.
While the box office results have been a disappointment to producers of the Marvel-Disney collaboration, director Simon Kinberg is acknowledging its faults.
The feature marked Kinberg’s directorial debut, and he also wrote the screenplay, though the entire third act was changed following poor test screenings.
“It clearly is a movie that didn’t connect with audiences that didn’t see it, it didn’t connect enough with audiences that did see it. So that’s on me,” the filmmaker told KCRW’s The Business.
However, Kinberg still enjoyed the process of making the movie, which also stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, and Jessica Chastain.
“I loved making the movie, and I loved the people I made the movie with,” he said.
Kinberg’s next directing venture will be 355, where he will again team up with Chastain.
