Per Variety, the story follows the captain of a Swedish adventure racing team, who meets a wounded stray dog during a 400-mile race through the Ecuadoran jungles. The dog that is led to follow the team through some of the toughest terrain on the planet is later adopted by the captain and is brought back to Sweden.

Wahlberg will portray captain Lindnor. He will also executive produce alongside Dorothy Canton, Brandt and Lindnord. Mark Canton, Tucker Tooley, Courtney Solomon, and Tessa Tooley will produce.
