The dynamic duo Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn — the former host and mentor of Project Runway, have teamed with Amazon to launch the next global fashion business. 

And we can now finally take the first sneak peek at the new and upcoming fashion design competition Making the Cut. In the new series, Klum and Gun give 12 designers a chance to win a million dollars, a mentorship with Amazon Fashion head Christine Beauchamp, and create an exclusive clothing line on Amazon. 

Making the Cut features a slew of A-lister guest judges including Naomi Campbell, Nicole Richie, Joseph Altuzarra, Carine Roitfeld and Chiara Ferragni who will give their takes on the designers’ work.

Making the Cut premieres March 27.

The long-gestating fashion competition series from the dynamic duo for Amazon finally has a title and a time frame. 

Making the Cut will debut in 2020. 

Per the official logline, the Project Runway follow-up series will bring together “12 talented entrepreneurs and designers from around the globe who are competing to take their fledging brands to the next level in becoming the next big global phenomenon.” The winner will win $1 million to invest in their brand. 

Looks from the series will be available to purchase on Amazon. A first look also reveals that some major names have joined the show as guest judges, including Naomi Campbell and Nicole Richie.

Klum and Gunn left Project Runway at the end of season 16. Supermodel Karlie Kloss took over as host and Runway winner Christian Siriano as mentor.
