You can’t get enough of reboots? Well, then you are in for a treat since another beloved ’90s sitcom is trying to find its way back on TV screens. According to Deadline, the idea of Frasier reboot is being explored by the series’ central star and executive producer Kelsey Grammer.

If the show returns, it would be rebooted in a different way than some other sitcoms like Will & Grace and Roseanne, which saw most of the original cast making a return in a similar premise. The new version of Frasier would be set in a different city, with the titular character played by Grammer serving as one of the rare links with the original.

In case Grammer manages to get a writer and settle on a premise, the show could move on beyond the exploratory stage.

Frasier premiered in 1993 as a spinoff of NBC’s sitcom Cheers. It focused on psychiatrist Frasier Crane, who leaves Boston to return to his hometown of Seattle where he intends to begin a new life as a radio host. The series went on to receive widespread acclaim, winning a then-record thirty-seven Emmy Awards, which included getting the Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series award for five consecutive years.
