Deadline exclusively reported that The Punisher is set to star in a recurring role in the series which is based on Celeste Ng’s bestselling book of the same name. She is set to play Elizabeth, a gynecologist who works for Planned Parenthood, who attended high school with Elena (Witherspoon) and Linda (Dewitt).

According to the outlet, the story follows “the intertwined fates of the picture-perfect Richardson family and an enigmatic mother and daughter who upend their lives.”

The project hails from Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine, Washington’s Simpson Street, and ABC Signature Studios.
