]]>The first look at the forthcoming documentary about the musical group has been unveiled.
The film about the New York trio of rappers, dubbed “the story of three friends who inspired each other and the world,” is set to debut later this year. It centers around cofounders Mike Diamond and Adam Horovitz and their 40 years of friendship and with cofounder Adam “MCA” Yauch.
“There are some friends you have lunch with so many times over the years, you know their order,” Horovitz and Diamond said in a statement earlier this year. “Spike is one of those friends. And even when you don’t recognize anything on the menu, he comes up with something good for the whole table. Like when we wondered what to do when our book comes out… then Spike placed his order: You will put on a show for the children.”
Beastie Boys Story will be available to stream on Apple TV+ April 24.

]]>Multiple outlets report that the media giant’s streaming service Apple TV+ has given the green light to a new series that will take an “inventive and cinematic approach to biographies of the most iconic figures in society today by using letters written by those whose lives have been changed through their work.”
The series hails from Emmy and Peabody Award winner RJ Cutler and its first season will feature Oprah Winfrey, Gloria Steinem, Spike Lee, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Yara Shahidi, Stevie Wonder, Aly Raisman, Misty Copeland, Big Bird and more.
Dear… is set to launch on Apple TV+ in the spring.

]]>News that the psychological thriller has officially been renewed for another season was unveiled by executive producer M. Night Shyalaman who announced the news on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Servant hails from creator and executive producer Tony Basgallop. It stars Lauren Ambrose, Nell Tiger Free, Rupert Grint, and Toby Kebbell. Per the officially description, the series follows a Philadelphia couple in mourning after an unspeakable tragedy creates a rift in their marriage and opens the door for a mysterious force to enter their home.
Season one of Servant premieres on November 28, with new episodes rolling out weekly every Friday.

]]>The chilling clip for the psychological thriller gives us a first look at the “unspeakable tragedy” that is the loss of a baby named Jericho. Jericho’s parents, played by Lauren Ambrose and Toby Kebbell, replace the baby with a doll, but that doesn’t stop them from hiring a nanny (Nell Tiger Free) to look after their son.
The series also stars Harry Potter’s Rupert Grint.
Servant premieres on November 28 on Apple’s new streaming service.

]]>Per multiple outlets, the third installment in the Band of Brothers and The Pacific saga will be the first series produced in-house by Apple.
The duo will executive produce Masters of the Air, a miniseries that focuses on American bombers during the war. Gary Goetzman, their collaborator on the two previous installments, will also executive produce, with Hanks and Goetzman’s Playtone and Spielberg’s Amblin Television producing the series with Apple.
While Band of Brothers and The Pacific aired on HBO, this time around the premium cabler decided to pass on the project. “After careful consideration, HBO decided not to move forward with Masters of the Air. We look forward to our next collaboration with Playtone and Amblin,” HBO said in a statement.
Apple TV+ launches on November 1.

Servant follows a “Philadelphia couple in mourning after an unspeakable tragedy creates a rift in their marriage and opens the door for a mysterious force to enter their home.”
“I’ve been very quiet about what I have been working on with Apple TV+ but it has been one of the most incredible creative experiences,” Shyamalan wrote on Twitter. “We’re so excited to show it to you.”
Apple TV+ debuts November 1. A Night with M. Night Introducing Servant on Apple TV+ is slated for October 3.
