These posters might give us some good hints about the characters that will return from Murder House and Coven in Apocalypse. The red baby might be the Antichrist baby that Vivian (Connie Britton) gives birth to at the end of the Murder House and ends up being taken by Constance (Jessica Lange).
But we will have to wait September to know for sure since the plot of Apocalypse is being kept under wraps. Still, the series creator Ryan Murphy decided to reveal some bits during his earlier media appearances.
“It’s a season, unlike anything we’ve done because there’s a big hook to it. There’s a huge thing that happens in episode five,” Murphy told EW back in May. “You will see so many fan favorites return that you’ll feel like it’s The Love Boat. It’s a very high concept.”
Alongside Evan Peters, who is the only cast member to be featured in each season, Apocalypse will see Sarah Paulson, Emma Roberts, Cheyenne Jackson, Kathy Bates, Billie Lourd, Billy Eichner, Adina Porter, Leslie Grossman and Joan Collins all joining the cast.
Other details we previously learned about American Horror Story season eight include the fact that the story will be set at some point in 2019 and that production officially began in June. Also, Evan Peters and Sarah Paulson will get an opportunity to direct one episode each.
