Sigourney Weaver, John Hurt, and Ian Holm brought to life the film about a space crew that had to contend with the rather aggressive extraterrestrial.
The franchise extended with the inclusion of three sequels, Aliens in 1986, Alien 3 in 1992, and Alien Resurrection in 1997.
While James Cameron, David Fincher, and Jean-Pierre Jeunet handled the sequels, original director, Ridley Scott, worked on the prequels. These included Prometheus in 2012 and Alien: Covenant, which came out in 2017.
Reports now claim that the Blade Runner director is working on another.
According to Variety, work is being done for a third prequel, which will possibly be titled Alien: Awakening.
While nothing about the plot or production has yet been confirmed, it is believed that Scott will once again assume directing duties.

Gravity is definitely one to watch in the cinema. The visuals are astounding.
The Star Trek universe is just part of the reason that fans get obsessed. The rest is down to the raw emotion and pure messages that the franchise shares.
It’s hilarious, colorful and insanely charming. It’s not surprising it appeals to both Marvel fans and superhero amateurs alike.
If you prefer practicality over existentialism, this is probably the space movie for you.
Wall-E is a Pixar favorite. It might have been the uncontrollable advancement of technology which got humans to their state in Wall-E but it takes one adorable robot to help people rediscover their humanity.

We begin our list of best horror movie film series with one of the best horror franchises from the ’90s. The story of Scream revolves around a girl named Sydney Prescott and her friends, who get targeted by a crazy serial killer. The original Scream movie from 1996 is without a doubt the best one out there, but the three sequels are definitely watchable.
Starting in 1984, A Nightmare on Elm Street is a classic that managed to keep its grim and dark atmosphere throughout all nine movies released to date. Franchise’s centerpiece, Freddy Kruger, is the ultimate villain from nightmares, and that is exactly what he delivers to his victims.
