According to multiple outlets, following the feature’s roll out overseas, the latest installment of the web-slinging hero has raked in an estimated $185 million domestically since its debut Tuesday night. 

According to Variety, the Tom Holland-led film has set several records during its opening week — biggest Tuesday ticket sales of all time ($38 million), best Wednesday grosses for a Marvel movie ($27 million), the second-largest 4th of July holiday ($25 million), and finally Sony Pictures’ biggest six-day opening weekend ever.

The 23rd movie in Marvel’s Cinematic Universe also grossed a whopping $395 million overseas. 

Second and third place in the domestic box office go to two holdovers with Toy Story 4, with an estimated $34.3 million, followed by musical Beatles fantasy Yesterday with an estimated $10.8 million across.
